If you are loong for a sturdy, durable, but yet cheap heavy road bike… Here you have one with Shimano Parts!
What is the weight of this bike? Is it portable?
0
about 8KG, portable and wheels detachable like other standard road bikes.

I would say its not really portable in a sense. Comparing it to a foldable bike this is definately not as compact. But for usability, this is definately a much sturdy bike.

What did you use it for?
0
Commute and club rides
3
Commutes within 5 - 10km distances. Takes at most 20 minutes!
5
Mostly as a road bike around Singapore.

I use it for my road trips around Singapore. Mostly during the week ends
0
How do I use it?
0
I use it as a commute road bike for fast commutes compared to bike sharing bikes, which are slow and harder to use. I do not install cleats on this bike because (1) it is a commute bike, (2) it should be installed on a lighter bike.

What did you not like?
0
It's heavy, so not suitable for the intermediate speed club rides
4
Although durable and cheap, it is heavy, and uses inferior Shimano gears, hence it takes quite a lot of energy to kick up some speed and it gets very hard to keep up on intermediate club rides!

What did you like?

Yes, very nice bike if you go on and off road and don't want to sacrifice too much for your first one!

It's a durable tank. Very useful for commutes.
3
It is a very cheap, and very durable bike, able to take quite a beating on rough roads and still be in good shape.
