Small Aquarium Tanks for Your Pet Fish

Small Aquarium Tanks for Your Pet Fish

We have a beautiful toddler running around at home. She just turned two, and the house has been crazier than ever (but in a good way). To add more fun at home, we decided to buy a pet! Guess what it is? A betta fish! The Betta fish is also known as the Siamese fighting fish.

To be honest, we don’t have any idea how to start. We just head to the nearest pet shop and interviewed the guy in charge there. We asked suggestions about what tank to buy and what food to feed our new friend. He also gave us other products that we need.

Just in case you find yourself interested in having a pet fish, here are some small aquarium tanks to consider:

4 small aquarium tanks

MarineLand Portrait Glass LED Aquarium Kit

For a first-time fish parent, you will find this filtered aquarium perfect for your needs.

This aquarium features an advanced 3-stage panel filtration that is hidden at the back. It also comes with an adjustable flow filter pump. You will find that the white LEDs shimmers in the water when turned on while the blue LEDs gives a soothing moonlight glow.

This is a great rimless glass aquarium. There is silicone plastic divider across the back of the tank creating a separate rear 2” compartment. Overall, I can say that the aquarium is very well protected from the outside so that there is no risk of fish jumping out (or even other animals jumping in!)

Regarding the filter, well it really has a nice design. It has an inlet on the lower right of the divider together with a surface skimmer at placed at the upper right.

Umbra FishHotel Mini Aquarium

First off, what's so unique about this mini aquarium is the fact that it is stackable. I also like its modern design that looks so sophisticated. It also features a plastic facade and windows that are removable for easy cleaning. This tank is the perfect size for a betta, as long as you are filling it to the top.

However, I also think that fishes deserve to have more space to swim around in. A heater and a filter is also ideal for fishes to enjoy warm and clean water so I don't recommend this if you want the best for your fish (unless you are going to fill it to the top and change the water every week).

Your fish will be so happy and look so pretty if you give them a little love. You can by a much bigger tank for a whole lot less and design it any way you'd like.

Tetra LED Half Moon Betta Aquarium

This aquarium features a half-moon shape design that provides a full-view. This is big enough for a Betta fish to swim around. The light is bright enough and makes the tank look even more beautiful. Overall, this is easy to set up and has a nice clean look. It also comes with cordless LED lights that use 3 AA batteries. I prefer this over a cord sticking out of a wall.

It looks nicer than the more expensive tanks I have seen and it's very spacious.

Koller Products - AquaView 3-Gallon 360 with Power Filter and LED Lighting

This aquarium features a LED lighting that comes with 7 color choices that will dazzle you! It also comes with a built-in timer so you can set the light. It comes with an internal power filter that purifies and cleans the water at a flow rate of about 25 gallons per hour! The filter cartridge is able to eliminate all the organic pollutants that will harm your fish.

Finding the best fish tank for your fish is important if you want them to live a happy and long life. It was a fun experience for me. I’m looking forward to this journey with our new pet fish. My niece is so happy! I can’t wait to share with you more of our experience.

‘Til next time! <3
