Hi superble friends! Let’s talk about… hydration packs!
I started a couple of years ago. I realized that even the basic thing like drinking water is a huge deal in this type of sport. That's why I learned to trust and be sensitive to my body. Dehydration is a real threat to our physical performance. Everyone knows that. So let me share with you the things that I learned about healthy hydration.
To be honest, you don't really need to drink a lot while you are running. This is one of the common mistakes runners make. Doing this just causes them to feel bloated and even gaggy while running. So here are my quick tips and my recommended hydration packs for runners.
There is no single answer to this question. It really depends on your body. Basically, for a 30-minute run, you should have drunk at least 8oz of water. You may also sip a little every mil. Or if you feel really thirsty, you can sip every after a few minutes. Listen to your body.
In my case, I don't really enjoy the taste of flavored water. I tried Salt Stick tablets to help me balance out all the sweat I'm losing. I used to be a heavy -sweater, by the way.
Again, there is no single answer to this question. It depends on your preference. However, a sports drink is a no-no for me when it comes to running. If you are a heavy sweater like me, or you are going for a really long run, or you are experiencing some muscle cramps while running or after running, I suggest that you add some electrolytes to your drinking water. This may help you a lot.

I have tried one of this brand’s packs already and I can really say that they stayed put! I used it during my training. If you are not that tall, you will find this hydration pack very comfortable to wear (especially on your torso).

I don't own one of these but I have a friend that wore it one time while we were on the run. I couldn't stop laughing! Sometimes, you just need a little fun, so you might want to check out this beer hat that you can wear while on the run (LOL).
