The worst post-pregnancy nightmare of all the new moms out there is seeing big stretch marks on large areas of the body. They may appear on your abdominal wall, over the thighs, upper arms, buttocks, and breasts.

However, pregnancy is not the only cause of stretch marks. Other reasons may be a sudden loss of weight, rapid growth, hereditary factors, stress and changes in physical conditions.

Thus, it is never true that it happens due to scratching.

You may need collagen treatments to gradually erase the marks but it doesn't mean going to the clinic again. You may not know, what you need is just right there in your cupboard, fridge or in the garden.

Here are 5 natural ways to get rid of your stretch marks:

You can also try this with 1/4 cup aloe vera gel mixed with vitamin E and vitamin A capsules. This mixture will surely be absorbed by the affected area for healing.

Eggs are naturally a high source of protein which can give a soothing effect in the skin. Just remove the egg yolk carefully and apply the egg white thickly on the affected skin area. Better do it in a circular motion to exfoliate your skin. Let it dry completely for about 10 minutes and then rinse it with cold water afterward.

3. Calamansi Extract

You have the choice to use a cotton ball or not. Leave it for 5 to 10 minutes. Cover the area with a clean cotton cloth. Use a heating pad and apply some heat to the stretch mark for at least half an hour.
