Hi superble friends! Let’s talk about… sugary foot scrubs!
The soft and fine grains of brown sugar dissolve quickly and easily in warm water. This makes it a perfect ingredient that can exfoliate dry skin!
Save your soles with these soothing homemade foot scrub recipes that contain a sweet ingredient: SUGAR. They are all super easy to prepare with ingredients that are already in your pantry.
The natural oil in this foot scrub recipe will rehydrate your feet completely!
All you have to do is mix half cup of brown sugar, with ¼ cup of any liquid oil. I recommend using almond oil or olive oil. They are perfect! And for this recipe, I suggest that you avoid semi-solid oils (such as coconut oil), since they are a bit harder to mix. You may also add ¼ cup of fresh flower petals, but this is optional. If you choose to add this, scrub vigorously enough as you mix so that the petals split up and release natural oils. This will give the fragrance and color in your foot scrub.
Once you have your foot scrub ready, wet your feet first and apply the mixture using a circular motion. Rinse well, and enjoy your super soft feet!
If you have some leftover scrubs, you can still save it to be used within 3 weeks! Just store them in a tight-lid container. Putting it inside the refrigerator also works better.
If you have dry skin and cracked heels, you should go for this foot scrub! Mix ¼ cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons honey, 2 tablespoons coconut oil, and 3 drops of peppermint essential oil. Scrub the mixture into your feet and massage with firm strokes. Rinse well with warm water and pat dry.
I advise that you use a foot cream afterward for best results. If you are doing this at night time, put on a pair of socks instantly in order for you to lock in the moisture and wake up with relaxed feet.
