Many think that being vegan means that you need to say goodbye to delicious food products. Being a vegan, I know how hard it is to give up on products made from meat, eggs, especially dairy. But then I realized that it doesn't have to be that way. I have discovered that some of the products I already love to eat are vegan (and there are a whole lot more in the market!)
Just in case you didn’t know, there are at least : Lacto-ovo-vegetarians, Lacto-vegetarians, Ovo-vegetarians, Pollotarians, Pescatarians, Semivegetarians, Flexitarians, and Vegans.
Lacto-ovo-vegetarians eat eggs and dairy but do not consume any type of meat. Lacto-vegetarians consume dairy products but stay away from eggs. Ovo-vegetarians consume eggs but do not eat anything that contains dairy. Pollotarians do not eat any other meat, except poultry. Pescatarians eat fish but no meat. Semivegetarians stay away from red meat, but fish and chicken are fine for them. Flexitarians eat a vegan diet but they let themselves consume meat occasionally. And then the vegans! Vegans are the strictest vegetarians because they stay away from all kinds of animal products and byproducts.
No matter what type of vegetarian you choose to be, I would like to share with you some vegan treats that you can add in your vegan grocery shopping list.
I really love this ice cream brand. This is always on the top of my vegan treat list.
This brand gives you ice cream that is made from cashew, coconut, soy or almond milk. There are so many choices and I honestly love almost every flavor. Having this ice cream made me think that it isn't that hard to switch to a vegan diet after all.
Skittles is a famous brand of fruity flavored sweet treats. Who doesn't love Skittles?
While most of Skittles' products are totally safe for vegetarians, there are a few exceptions: The Limited Edition named "Once in a Blue Moon" Skittles and Wild Berry flavor skittles.
I love camping. I love marshmallows too. Those are just two of the many reasons why I love these all natural marshmallows. They toast up perfectly around a campfire too.
For my daily dessert, I heap a spoonful of this chocolate caramel sauce over my Greek yogurt with toppings of fresh berries. This is just too good to resist.
These vegan options guarantee you that no animals were harmed in the process and you are receiving a healthier version of the food you eat.
